Yup! so this is it. The first of the series of reviews we(perhaps) are going to give here! Yep. This is a wonderful project started by me, Mervyn, to educate the country on foodstuff here! Of course, its entirely my opinion, so group members are allowed to edit and add their own ratings or sth. yeah.
Since we are t3h waffles, i shall start with waffles!
Yep, here it is, the waffles at food junction.At $1.20, its simply superb! Some times. However, the thing with this stall is that its waffles aren't really consistent. Sometimes, the holes are well defined.... The outsides are normal, while the inside is soft and..... nice.
But sometimes it looks horrible! damn. The good thing is, it still tastes not bad, and i'm willing to give the people time to improve.
Yup. so this is the ice cream waffles. The price is pretty steep, at $3. However, it tastes pretty good., even after the ice cream starts melting.
Where? Food junction@ tampines, Century square shopping mall, level three.
Plain waffles:Mervyn:8/10 on good days, 6.5/10 on bad ones.So that makes 7.25/10
Value for money? Mervyn: quite.
Peanut butter:Value for money?
Ice cream waffles:Mervyn: an average of 7.67/10
Value for money? not really.
My Take On Waffles :
Ryan- Personally, i like peanut butter ones.xD its really a test of the blend and mix of textures, crispy, chewy feelings against the sticky substance that is peanut butter.
Ice cream on waffles is always a delicacy, but IMO, its like a buff, bringing the whole dish up a notch.
i like my waffles good. xD
